MEC 240g (body only):

A U-form Vice Grip providing free adjustment of both jaws, allowing them to be aligned around the central axis to accommodate tensile testing of both symmetrical and asymmetrical specimens.

The ‘U-Form’ cut into the aluminium body of these Vice Grips creates the space for an operator to have specimen material below the jaws thereby facilitating loading and removal when testing.

Rated to 5 kN in tension with an opening of 0-28mm depending on the jaw types selected (sold separately).

An extensive collection of interchangeable jaws provide excellent gripping characteristics to ensure that a variety of materials and components can be securely held.

Fitted with a QC-20mm hole for connecting to loadcell or base of test stand.
