FINAT 9 Loop-Tack Test Fixture (lower), 200 N, QC-20

The FINAT 9 Loop Tack Test Fixture (lower) is fitted to the anvil plate of a motorised test stand.

It comprises a dedicated holder for 25mm x 75mm float glass onto which the adhesive-coated test strip is fixed according to the requirements of the FINAT 9 test method.

The upper portion of the test strip is held in an upper grip which is connected to a low-capacity loadcell (order both separately). MEC227 with rubber-coated jaws is a popular choice of upper grip.

It is commonly used for conducting 'loop tack' tests on pressure-sensitive adhesive materials to determine what is known as the 'initial grab' or 'application tack'.
