Customised engineering example
Luer lock test standards frequently call for measuring torque whilst simultaneously applying a pre-defined axial force. However, our client deliberately wished to measure the fastening and removal torque of caps from syringes without any axial force.
Precise measurement needed a simple custom solution. Two parts were designed by Mecmesin - one to grip the base of the syringe and one to engage the Luer lock cap. This allowed rapid exchange of samples whilst ensuring accurate and repeatable testing for maximum efficiency.
