VectorPro® Lite software

Available as an optional extra to Mecmesin's Orbis and Tornado digital torque testing instruments and Advanced Force and Torque Indicator (AFTI), VectorPro Lite is an advanced data-acquisition and plotting software package.

Live torque values are captured and automatically sent to VectorPro Lite to plot the graph of torque vs time. This helps to visually identify any events during the test which cannot be picked up by just having a peak reading on the instrument display.

To help determine whether your sample has met the necessary criteria, there is a suite of standard calculations with indicators of pass or fail to immediately alert the operator. A statistical analysis of results per batch of samples is produced and then incorporated, together with the graphs, into a customisable test report for your customer.

The Orbis digital torque tester is ideally suited for basic clockwise and counter-clockwise torque tests.

Manually operated and measuring up to 6 N.m its capacity is ideal for most caps and closures which are intended to be opened by hand.

Providing data with significantly greater accuracy than analogue torque devices, it’s a simple and cost-effective solution for a variety of torque applications.

Tornado

The Tornado digital torque tester is ideally suited for the testing of application and removal torque on caps and closures.

Manually operated, the Tornado range has 4 models with capacities ranging from 1.5 - 10 N.m to cover almost all closures types and sizes.

Its ability to detect initial bridge torque and peak torque make it the instrument of choice for testing closures with tamper-evident seals.
