This document establishes minimum safety requirements and specifies appropriate test methods for children’s cutlery and feeding utensils designed for the use of children aged up to 3 years, with or without parental supervision. Section 5.3.2 covers torque testing of utensils. Section 6.2 covers mechanical tests such as tensile, tear resistance and strength rigidity of cutlery and utensils, which can be addressed by using a tension/compression testing system.
