BS 7320Specification for sharps containers
This British Standard specifies requirements for sharps containers intended to hold potentially infectious medical waste comprised largely of devices which can readily cause physical injury e.g. scalpel blades, hypodermic needles and syringes. This standard covers charps containers that are supplied complete by the manufacturer and those that are supplied as components intended to be assembled by the user.
