The Modified Large Wedge Grip has a short body with long jaws to be able to securely hold S-spring press-studs ('poppers') when carrying out pull-off "test-to-failure" tests.

Typically used in conjunction with the 'Popper Cam Base' Textile Fixture (432-179) for clamping the fabric on the base of a test stand.
